emmanuel dilhac - enfant de la terre

earthy french folk jazz/countryside psych lp, part of a stellar run of four albums between 1971-1984. the band, consisting of sax/clarinet, double bass (sometimes bowed), guitar, two percussionists, and vocals, is loosely interwoven. with spidery, freaky instrumentation, clever, experimental arrangements, cosmic, natural, philosophical lyrics, this is one to enjoy front to back. "la tête de l'homme" is worth special isolation! recommended!
