oddball homemade-ish pop, from 1980s vienna. easy to imagine this being a solo project, but it's actually a trio, who under different guises have appeared on some recent growing bin label releases. easy to imagine this as a solo project because the vocal style is very sort of drunk and confessional, and the lyrics do ring a bell as ruminations of a young man stuck in some kind of upper tier of urban hell, mumbling about feeling so alone in your room, a pure girl, etc. "even stephen king quit breathing"? the tracks are also all pretty short and sketchy. music for the gray infinity you feel when you're about 25. cool record!
