northern bossa about the south seas from isabelle antena, on 12" (a 7" also exists), in french and english. the principal feature of her early work with antena is the suggestion of an unnerving existential question in idyllic, tropical or mediterranean settings, and when she went solo, this aspect was gradually downplayed. here we find her partly into this transition, moving into straight bossa/cocktail lounge, but there is still a lyric about the bermuda triangle (reaching), and of course one is free to overlay whatever other subtle coldness can be scrounged.
