not to downplay the slippery, humid instrumental "space jungle", but you will never be able to get "deja vu (remix)" out of your head. the insistent strut, the watery groove, the tweaky repeating synth, and above all the questioning vocal - the phasing of these elements is haunting and hypnotic. one of larry heard's finest works!
