richard sanderson - fairy tale

richard sanderson apparently has a somewhat illustrious career as a big pop singer that i am not aware of, but what i am aware of is the oil slick weapon that resides on this lp named "check on the list", which is basically a mike francis song (i would also say compatible with double). properly balearic, debonair, the unforgettable chorus, the broken english francis-isms like, "look at all those people coming in and out of the world", the sashaying groove. not commonly seen on these (u.s.) shores, and will really put in the kilometers for you if you have any sort of regular loungey dj gig.

condition: vg/g+ with one noticeable moment of groove wear on "angel's rock", which produces a few rotational clicks, but does not skip. jacket has a fair bit of edge and shelf (especially ring) wear.
